I was born in North Lincolnshire, read history and theology at York St John, and was ordained as a Continuing Anglican clergyman in the UK in 1994 after studying at Holyrood Seminary, NY. I came to the USA in 1999, and have been Vicar of Good Shepherd Anglican Church, Waynesboro, VA since March 2018, having previous held parishes in Virginia and Arizona. I was consecrated as a Bishop of the United Episcopal Church January 10 2009. I served as a suffragan bishop from January to November 2009, then became Bishop of the (revived) Missionary District of the West, and was translated to the Eastern Missionary District in 2017. I became Presiding Bishop of the United Episcopal Church in September 2010.
